Beverly Sills and I at Miami University - where she was speaking; 1986

Renee Fleming and I at our Alma Mater; Crane School of Music in Potsdam, NY. She was there give to a recital (2001) and we met up!

Occasionally someone starts out as a student and becomes like family. Thank you Rhea Anne, for being the gift you are!

With two of my biggest (and first) fans; my parents Ivan and Lois - and with Shelley MacArthur - at my first cabaret show.

My dear friend Kristie and I after my first solo cabaret show (2008) ; "Everything's Going My Way". If it weren't for Kristie, I may not have "come out of retirement" and started singing again. Thanks, Kristie!

I was a guest conductor at the North Shore Choral Society for a marvelous program with two amazingly gifted soloists; baritone Robert Orth and soprano Michelle Areyzaga (with accompanist Sharon in black).

At a CCP Gala with the very gifted Amanda McBroom. One of my most unforgettable experiences in a restaurant was sharing a scallop appetizer with her!

With Cabaret "royalty" Andrea Marcovicci at her master class at Davenport's in Chicago (2010?) where I sang for her and she told me I was an "enormous talent". I THINK that was a compliment.

Once again at the 2011 Annual CCP Gala at the Park West - where I was honored to present the award for Lifetime Achievement to my incredibly talented dear friend, Ann Hampton Callaway.

With Chicago's priceless cabaret treasure; my good friend and incredible pianist Beckie Menzie at the CCP (Chicago Cabaret Professionals) Annual Gala 2011 where she was honored with the Gold Coast Award.

Same night... different outfit... Beckie with her long-time musical partner (and one of my longest-time students), the marvelous Tom Michael.

With childhood friend - now musical superstar in Germany - Renee Knapp at her birthday party in Vermont; Oct. 2012

Making my Christmas album was made all the more special when two dear friends (and students) joined me on one track for a trio; Tom Michael and Amy Matheny. We got a little punchy at a late-night recording session!

Keeping the beat (and adding all the special Christmas effects like snow... angels... church bells...) was drummer and percussionist extraordinaire, Leo Murphy.

Adding his expertise on bass, the very patient Scott Mason.

Our trio entitled "God Bless My Family" (gorgeous song by Ann Hampton Callaway) was made all the more special because I got to record it with "sister" Amy and "brother" Tom.

It was a real treat and honor to have the very gifted guitarist Andy Brown on my CD.

With student and friend Shelley MacArthur during a sound-check break before her show. She said I could title this one "beauty isn't easy!"

Two of my greatest fans (and two examples of my ability to train others!), my "kids" little Essie and her brother, Amos - patiently listening to a students' vocalises.

In 1980 I had the pleasure of meeting and performing with the talented and wonderful Mary Brazeau Pohl. Here, in 2014, after too long apart, we had a wonderful reunion. The best part of being an artist is the people you get to meet and having your lives touch each other.

Mary Brazeau Pohl and I receiving the SLOC (Schenectady Light Opera Co.) vocal awards in 1981.

Recording my debut CD "Love is Born at Christmas" in the summer/fall of 2013 was a dream come true. Love the guys at Studio Media in Evanston!
